Telefilm, Canada Media Fund team up to push Cancon

MONTREAL and TORONTO - Telefilm Canada and the Canada Media Fund are joining forces on a national initiative designed to stimulate demand for Canadian content.“Telefilm wants to create a groundswell in favour of Canadian content”, said Telefilm’s executive director, Carolle Brabant, in the announcement. “The current success of Canadian films provides an ideal context for achieving this initiative, provided we put the necessary effort behind it.
