Telefilm announces $3.8M in production funding for seven French-language films

MONTREAL – Telefilm Canada announced Wednesday seven French-language feature films are receiving a total of $3.8 million in funding as part of the second round of selections in its Production Program’s big budget stream. The films include the Canada/France co-produced comedy Deux femmes en or, directed by Chloé Robichaud, written by Catherine Léger, produced by Vieille Amérique Inc., and distributed by Maison4tiers. Also receiving funding is the Maison4tiers-distributed drama Kaboul Montréal, produced by Caramel Film Inc., directed by Bachir Bensaddek and written by Marie Vien.
