Telecom Laureate Awards gala set for October 16 in Montreal

TORONTO – The 3rd Annual Telecom Laureate Awards 2007 gala dinner and Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will be held October 16 at Windsor Station in Montreal. The 2007 laureates being inducted into Canada’s Telecommunications Hall of Fame are: Michael Kedar (Icons of Business), Robert W. (Bob) Jones (Servants of the Public), C.R.O. Bob Munro (Advocates and Academics), Frederic Newton Gisborne (Inventors and Innovators) and the Communications Research Centre Canada (Special Recognition Award).
