Telecom, broadcast leaders named to ‘Most Powerful Women’ list


TORONTO - Three members of the Canadian telecommunications industry and one broadcaster were named to the 2008 Women's Executive Network list of the 100 Most Powerful Women. Lauren Flaherty, CMO Nortel Networks; Marrika Paul, senior vice-president Bell Canada, and Carol Ring, vice-president of strategic initiatives at Rogers Cable, and Michele Fortin, president and CEO of Quebec public broadcaster Tele-Quebec all received recognition at a luncheon held today in Toronto.
