CHATHAM, ON – TekSavvy has rolled out  its IPTV service TekSavvy TV in Toronto.

Launched in association with its affiliate cable company Hastings Cable Vision, TekSavvy TV offers customers access to over 100 HD channels of sports, movies, series and kids programming, including video on demand content from select TV channels.

The service is currently available as an app for Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire Stick.  Customers may start with TekSavvy TV Basic for $20.00 per month and add on additional theme packages that range in price from $6.00 to $20.00 per month.  TekSavvy TV requires a TekSavvy residential Internet subscription with a minimum download speed of 15 Mbps.

Toronto is the third Ontario market to have access to TekSavvy TV after the independent ISP launched the service in its home market of Chatham-Kent and in Ottawa earlier this year.

“We're responding to our customers' requests for innovative, competitive Canadian television alternatives which TekSavvy TV is delivering with more value and a great, easy-to-use experience on select devices that they already own”, said TekSavvy CEO and Hastings Cable Vision president Marc Gaudrault, in the news release.  “We look forward to adding more devices, more features, and more channels, and rolling out to more areas in the coming months."
