TekSavvy thinks pink

CHATHAM, ON – TekSavvy Solutions will donate $1 to the Canadian Cancer Society for every new individual who signs up to receive its newsletter this month.

The independent Internet service provider said that its free monthly newsletter, called TekSavvyBuzz, includes industry news, information regarding Canadian telecom issues, and upcoming promotions and contests.  As a thank you to participants, every 100th registrant will receive a free Planet Pink t-shirt.

"TekSavvy is involved in a number of charitable initiatives with the Canadian Cancer Society throughout the year," said Tina Furlan, director of marketing and communications, in the news release.  "Breast cancer is a cause especially close to our hearts as a number of our employees have been personally impacted by this disease. We hope to raise awareness and help to create a planet without breast cancer through initiatives like Planet Pink."

At the end of this campaign, the funds raised will be presented to the Chatham branch of the Canadian Cancer Society.
