CHATHAM, Ont. — Independent ISP TekSavvy Solutions today announced availability of its new Managed Wi-Fi and Managed Security services, its latest business offerings to combine robust security appliances and the 24/7 monitoring capabilities of the company’s technical assistance centre.

TekSavvy Managed Wi-Fi can be deployed across a campus, office, café, or bed and breakfast, with TekSavvy’s technicians installing business-grade hardware to suit the client and environment, says the press release. Wi-Fi networks are continuously monitored and security updates are safely managed by TekSavvy’s technical assistance centre. Internet access can be controlled based on site, protocol or content category, says the release.
TekSavvy Managed Security protects networks at their edge, continuously scanning for vulnerabilities and intrusion attempts. Real-time traffic analysis detects malware and other threats, notifying TekSavvy’s technicians to remediate vulnerabilities, says the release. Other features of the managed service include virtual private networking, which secures and protects data from attacks outside the business, and integrated identity-based filtering, which provides the flexibility to manage access for those who need it and limit access where required, says TekSavvy.
