TekSavvy joins Facebook ad boycott

CHATHAM, Ont. — In a statement issued Wednesday morning, TekSavvy announced it is joining the growing advertising boycott of Facebook, as well as suspending ads on Facebook’s Instagram photo-sharing platform. “TekSavvy has joined the Facebook and Instagram advertising boycott as part of the Stop Hate for Profit campaign. We firmly believe in equality and fairness and strongly oppose the spread of hateful content.
