CHATHAM, ON – TekSavvy Solutions Inc. has acquired up-and-coming software development firm Openjive Inc. in a move that it says expands its offerings to Canada's small and medium enterprises.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Headquartered in the Ottawa area, Openjive is a Microsoft Partner.  With expertise in delivering applications and services to the commercial and government sectors, the company focuses on building Unified Collaboration solutions that integrate with Microsoft platforms like Lync, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Exchange, Office and Office365.  Openjive is the company behind Lingo, the Qualified Lync Solution for connecting disparate systems and processes to extend business applications to Lync 2013 Persistent Chat.

Coupled with TekSavvy's strategic investment in the Root Data Center, scheduled to open this week, TekSavvy said that the acquisition will allow it to offer a growing range of professional services to Canadian enterprises.

"We are very excited about the Openjive acquisition," said Pascal Tellier, TekSavvy's chief information officer, in the announcement.  "It is another element that expands our ability to bring professional services, and our renowned customer support, to small and medium Canadian businesses."
