'Team Darrell' hammers fundraising target

‘TEAM DARRELL’ MORE than doubled its donations this year at the Terry Fox Run/Walk, thanks in part to the generosity of Cartt.ca readers. Named in honour of the late broadcast and distribution industry veteran Darrell Atherley, Team Darrell surpassed its original fundraising goal of $20,000.00, raising an impressive $32,766.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation this year. Over 100 members of Team Darrell walked, ran, biked or roller-bladed the 5 km or 10 km course at the event, which was held September 18 at Coronation Park in Oakville, ON.
