TORONTO – Newstalk 1010 is looking for its own next big thing.
The Standard Radio owned AM talk station will begin the search for the next Talk Radio Idol on September 9th.
The station asks wannabes if "Your friends say you think you know everything … and you usually do. You won’t shut up in a conversation. You’re typically the life of a party, or at least think you are. And basically you’re a pretty nice person and people like you. Oh, and one more thing … you think you can host a talk show. Does this sound like you? Well, let’s find out," says the press release.
On Sunday September 9th at 9 p.m., CFRB will launch Talk Radio Idol. The winner will get to host a talk show on Newstalk 1010 CFRB "and maybe start a whole new career!"
"No experience necessary, in fact no experience preferred. If you can talk, you can compete in Talk Radio Idol," says the release.
