SWIFT surveys residents to help guide new regional broadband network

WYOMING, ON - The SouthWestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) Network is seeking input about how residents currently use Internet across the region as it prepares to invest nearly $300 million in building out broadband in southwestern Ontario, Caledon, and the Niagara Region.SWIFT has launched three voluntary surveys to help determine where to invest its funding and to meet its goal of building “broadband for everyone.”The three main groups of respondents are: household or residential premises, including farms and seasonal dwellings; businesses of all sizes; and public sector organizations such as municipal, utility, schools and hospitals.  More information about the voluntary...
