
MONTREAL — Cogeco Communications announced Monday that Susan Bowen (right) has been appointed to the position of president of Cogeco Peer 1, the company’s business information and communications technology services subsidiary. Bowen’s appointment will be effective September 1.
The change in leadership follows the appointment of Philippe Jetté, current president of Cogeco Peer 1, to the position of president and CEO of Cogeco Inc. and Cogeco Communications Inc., announced in May and effective September 1.
Bowen is currently vice-president and general manager, Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), at Cogeco Peer 1. In her mandate as president of Cogeco Peer 1, Bowen will continue to focus on the business unit’s activities around priorities such as sustaining revenue growth, improving operational efficiency and ensuring a return on investments.

Her strong focus on helping customers scale their business to achieve critical business objectives has made her a trusted advisor and a leading voice in the industry, in the United Kingdom and beyond. Under Susan’s leadership, the team will continue to concentrate on building and offering a relevant suite of solutions in a constantly evolving and intensely competitive market.”
Prior to joining Cogeco Peer 1, Bowen was chief of staff at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and responsible for leading HPE’s UK and Ireland growth and SMB program. She is the chair of techUK’s Women in Tech Council and has a post-graduate certificate in education from the University of Greenwich, a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University, and a bachelor of science in business information systems from the University of Portsmouth.
