Superchannel brings Emmy-winning ‘Broken Trail’ to Canadians

EDMONTON – The mini-series Broken Trail will air on upstart national pay TV channel Superchannel Canada, it was announced Wednesday. The program is a co-production between Nomadic Pictures of Calgary, Once Upon a Time Films of Los Angeles, and Robert Duvall’s Butcher’s Run Films. “Broken Trail won four Emmy’s this year and we are pleased to raise it as evidence of the calibre of programming Canadians will experience with Superchannel,” said Superchannel vice-president of programming Sandy Perkins.
