EDMONTON – Super Channel has acquired the conspiracy thriller series Condor from MGM Television and Skydance Television in association with Paramount Television.

The ten-episode first season will premiere April 2 at 9:00 PM ET on Super Channel Fuse, and the upcoming second season will air later this year.  Each hour-long episode will also be available on Super Channel On Demand, the day following its linear broadcast premiere.

Based on the novel ‘Six Days of the Condor’ by James Grady and screenplay 'Three Days of the Condor' by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and David Rayfiel, season one of the series follows a young CIA analyst, Joe Turner (Max Irons – pictured right), who stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions.

In addition to Max Irons, season one of Condor stars Academy Award winners William Hurt and Mira Sorvino, Canadian Kristen Hager, Leem Lubany, Angel Bonanni, and Bob Balaban.  Brendan Fraser guest stars.

Super Channel also picked up the original Hulu documentary feature Fyre Fraud, which takes viewers inside the notorious Fyre music festival fiasco and includes an exclusive interview with Billy McFarland, the convicted con-man behind it.

The Fyre Festival was the defining scam of the millennial generation, at the nexus of social media influence, late-stage capitalism, and morality in the post-truth era.  Marketing for the 2017 music event went viral with the help of rapper Ja Rule, Instagram stars and models, but turned epic fail after stranding thousands in the Bahamas.  Fyre Fraud (pictured below) is a true-crime comedy bolstered by a cast of whistleblowers, victims, and insiders going beyond the spectacle to uncover the power of FOMO and an ecosystem of enablers, driven by profit and a lack of accountability in the digital age.

Fyre Fraud will make its Canadian broadcast premiere on April 12 at 9:30 PM ET on Super Channel Fuse and be available on Super Channel On Demand the following day.
