Super Channel promotes Brandon Best to director of program content

Super Channel announced Tuesday the appointment of Brandon Best to the position of director of program content. His promotion was effective March 4, but was announced only now, a company spokesperson confirmed. Best has been Super Channel’s contracts manager since March 2010. He continues to be based in Edmonton, reporting to Kim Ball, chief content and communications officer. In his new role, Best will be responsible for supporting Ball in executing the company’s content strategy, assisting with acquisitions and production development for its linear broadcast channels, on-demand and FAST channels, including reviewing and evaluating potential acquisitions.
