Super Channel and Farpoint Films sign exclusive television deal

EDMONTON – Allarco Entertainment’s Super Channel said today it has signed an exclusive deal for 150 hours of Farpoint Films productions.

The deal includes the option to extend for two more years at 150 hours of scripted and unscripted content per year, a press release said.

“The first show already in production is Death of the Party (26×60), a true crime doc series that takes a look at mysterious murders linked to house parties, banquets, concerts, festivals and events,” the release said. “The second show is another unscripted true crime series called, An Hour to Kill, which micro-examines the most fascinating uninterrupted hour of a homicide investigation.

“Farpoint is then planning on rolling on three movies this summer with another collection of documentaries and unscripted series shooting simultaneously around the world utilizing their in-house production and post crew,” it added.

Farpoint is based out of Winnipeg and has produced television and film projects including The Swearing Jar (premiered at TIFF 2022), Vandits, Ice Vikings, Cruise Ship Killers, Room For Rent, Bachman, From The Vine, Sorry For Your Loss, Kid Diners, Escape Or Die!, The Illegal Eater, The Medicine Line, Menorca, and The Sheepdogs Have At It.
