SUDBURY, Ont. – Newcap Radio has launched its contribution to the “playing what we want” trend with the new Big Daddy 103.9 FM in Canada’s nickel capital.
It replaces the old Z103 CHR format which has been an on-air staple in Sudbury for years.
“Playing anything means the best of the ’80s , ’90s and today’s top music. The format is without all the rules and repeated songs, working from a music library of thousands of old favourites and new smash hits,” says the press release.
“Breaking new ground in radio listening is Newcap Radio’s strength,” said general manager Darlene Palmer. “We want to provide Sudbury listeners with music you can dance to, sing to, date to, divorce to; music that you call your own. We have added steaming to our station so that listeners can catch Big Daddy anywhere simply by going to www.bigdaddy1039.ca.”
