Strombo heads south? for the summer with new CNN show


TORONTO – Canada’s TV best friend, CBC-TV talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos, is being wooed by CNN, as the U.S. network announced the Canadian TV personality will helm a new weekly interview show on CNN this summer. The 10-episode, hour-long series, which will air Fridays in prime time, will be similar in format to CBC’s George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, CNN reported on its website. It will be shot in Los Angeles in front of a live audience and produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Embassy Row.
