MONTREAL — To get everyone in the festive mood, Stingray announced today its Naturescape TV channel’s fireplace is back to warm things up, while Qello Concerts by Stingray will stream a curated collection of free and on-demand holidays concerts this month.
Starting today, Stingray Naturescape will offer a variety of 12 fireplaces set to different music tracks over the next weeks, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From holiday music to peaceful tracks to the soothing sound of crackling fire, viewers can enjoy the fireplace best suited to their mood and activity, says Stingray.
Stingray Naturescape’s fireplace is available via linear TV, connected TV and SVOD through Stingray’s partners. Naturescape offers a free YouTube playlist Crackling Fires, including a collection of one-hour videos such as Crackling calming sounds of a lakeside campfire, Comforting wood-burning fireplace or Christmas fireplace – Cozy for the holidays.
Over on Qello Concerts by Stingray, the streaming service is hosting a 12-day festival of holiday concerts and performances, available to watch for free. Starting December 14 with Blake Shelton’s Not-So-Family Christmas, each concert will be available free for 48 hours. Running until Christmas Day, other concerts in the lineup include Luciano Pavarotti’s Christmas at Notre Dame, Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden, Glow: An Evening with Brett Eldredge, Straight No Chaser’s Live in New York: Holiday Edition, and Ballet on Ice’s The Nutcracker 2011.
In addition, other seasonal treasures from Qello Concerts are available on-demand from December 4 until January 3. This premium holiday collection includes Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby’s Happy Holidays, Harry Connick Jr.’s Harry For the Holidays, Charlie Daniels Band’s A Twin Pines Christmas, as well as performances by Francesca Battistelli, Lady A, Jordan Smith, The Celts, Daniel O’Donnell and Mannheim Steamroller.
Fans of classical music and ballet can also enjoy on-demand Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, the Mariinsky Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker, and several additional Ballet On Ice shows including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake.
Stingray is currently offering an annual subscription to Qello Concerts for the special holiday price of $65. The offer expires January 5, 2021.
