MONTREAL – Stingray Digital Group is rebranding its live music channel from iConcerts to Stingray iConcerts in order to ensure a consistent identity across its portfolio of multiplatform music products and services.

The new branding, designed in-house, features a customized typeface, on-screen design and new weekly schedule, though retains the iconic “100% Live Music” tagline.  The second phase of the rebrand will include a new website.

Acquired by Stingray in December 2015, Stingray iConcerts is a television channel and on demand service dedicated solely to live music.  It is currently distributed to more than 100 Pay-TV and OTT operators in 85 countries, and available to an estimated 250 million households across the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Stingray will also rebrand its existing Stingray Concerts service as Stingray iConcerts over the next few months.

“As Stingray’s product portfolio continues to grow and establish a dominant position in the market, it is fundamental that our services present a strong and coherent brand identity,” said SVP marketing and communications Mathieu Péloquin, in the news release.  “The success of this rebranding initiative highlights the ability of our in-house marketing, design, and content teams to integrate and bring to market new acquisition quickly and efficiently.”
