MONTREAL – Stingray Digital Group has signed a multi-year contract renewal with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) for its Stingray Music service.

The NCTC is a Kansas-based, not-for-profit corporation that operates as a programming and hardware purchasing organization for some 800 member companies who own and operate cable systems throughout the U.S. and its territories.

Close to 1 million subscribers of NCTC members are currently receiving Stingray Music, according to the news release.  Under the terms of the renewal, the NCTC’s member companies will have continued access to 50 Stingray Music linear audio channels.

"Stingray’s success is due in great part to the loyalty of clients such as the NCTC who see in Stingray a solid, innovative, and trustworthy long-term partner”, said Stingray president, co-founder and CEO Eric Boyko, in the release.  “We will continue to ensure that NCTC members’ subscribers have access to the best curated music products and services available on the market.”
