Stingray launches new music and video channels on Samsung TV Plus


Music and video content distributor Stingray announced Monday the launch of several new channels on the free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) and video-on-demand service Samsung TV Plus in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

In Canada, Samsung TV Plus users can now explore Stingray’s Qello Concerts channel, featuring full-length concert films and documentaries, as well as new channels Classic Rock, Smooth Jazz, Flashback, Remember the 80s, and SPA offering serene soundscapes. On March 13, Stingray DJAZZ and Stingray Classica will be added to the channel collection available on Samsung TV Plus in Canada, along with new Stingray Music audio channels, including Nothin’ But 90s, Easy Listening, Hip Hop, Today’s K-Pop, and Hot Country.

In Australia and New Zealand, Stingray is launching its Stingray Holidayscapes channel, featuring holiday-themed backdrops set to uplifting season-based music. On April 3, the Stingray Naturescape channel, offering stunning nature scenes set to peaceful soundtracks, will be added to the lineup on Samsung TV Plus in New Zealand.

Its partnership with Samsung TV Plus “underscores Stingray’s commitment to expanding its reach and delivering its top-tier music and video content to a broader audience,” the release says.
