
MONTREAL — Music service provider and broadcaster Stingray is growing its audience reach with the launch today of multiple SVOD and free, ad-supported TV (FAST) channels with a number of providers around the world.
On the SVOD side, Stingray Classica is launching on new partner OneHub TV in the U.K. and existing partner Rogers in Canada; Stingray Karaoke is now being carried by Optimum and Suddenlink by Altice (U.S.) and Swisscom blue TV(Switzerland); and Qello Concerts by Stingray has launched on Amazon Prime Video Channels (Italy and Spain), Player + (Poland) and Totalplay (Mexico). The three SVOD channels are offered to customers for a monthly subscription.

We are always on the lookout for innovative partnerships to seamlessly bring our curated content to the greatest number of viewers while expanding our brand presence worldwide,” said Eric Boyko, president, co-founder and CEO of Stingray, in a press release announcing the SVOD channel launches on seven additional platforms.
In a separate announcement, Stingray said several of its FAST channels are launching on 11 major OTT providers. Stingray has signed new partnerships with Freebie TV (U.S.), Peacock (U.S.), Redbox (U.S.) and STV (U.K.), while expanding existing relationships with Comcast Xfinity (U.S.), DistroTV (U.S.), Freecast (U.S.), MX Player (U.S. and India), Samsung TV Plus (U.K. and Germany), STIRR (U.S.) and Vizio Watch Free (U.S.).
With these new distribution agreements, the FAST channels being launched include: Qello Concerts by Stingray on DistroTV, Freebie TV, Freecast, MX Player, Samsung TV Plus (U.K., Germany) and STV; Stingray Karaoke on Freebie TV, Freecast, MX Player, Samsung TV Plus (U.K., Germany) and Vizio Watch Free; Stingray Classica on DistroTV, Freebie TV, Freecast and MX Player; Stingray DJAZZ on DistroTV, Freebie TV, Freecast and STIRR; Stingray Naturescape/NatureVision on Comcast Xfinity, DistroTV, Freebie TV, Freecast, MX Player and Peacock; and Stingray Music on Freebie TV, Redbox and Vizio Watch Free.
