
MONTREAL — Until January 8, users of the Stingray Karaoke app and subscription video-on-demand services will be able to enjoy songs from three festive curated playlists, the company announced today.
For traditionalists, Karaoke Carols includes Christmas classics such as Winter Wonderland, The First Noel and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. The Holiday Party playlist features seasonal favourites from Mariah Carey, Elvis Presley, Michael Bublé, Wham!, Bing Crosby, and more. For the little ones, Christmas is for Kids offers children’s versions of holiday songs including Jingle Bell Rock and Frosty the Snowman.
In addition, until January 1, users can also enjoy holiday karaoke hits via connected TVs carrying the Stingray Karaoke channel. During the holiday season, Kids Holiday Sing Along runs every day from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., Holiday Karaoke Classics is available at 12 p.m., and Holiday Karaoke Party starts at 8 p.m. The Stingray Karaoke channel will also play holiday content during regular programming blocks, and non-stop holiday songs will be featured throughout the week of Christmas from December 19 to 27.
Stingray Karaoke is also making 47 festive songs free to access via its YouTube channel, including well-known favourites such as Do They Know It’s Christmas?, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.
