MONTREAL – Following the June 2017 launch of Stingray Classica, DJAZZ, Karaoke with Amazon Channels in the U.S., music service Stingray announced it has added certain channels to the Amazon lineups in Germany and the U.K., as well as on Comcast Xfinity in the United States.

Prime members in the U.K. can now subscribe to Stingray Classica and Stingray Karaoke, while Stingray Classica is available to members in Germany as both SVOD and linear channel, reads a company press release.

Stateside, classical music channel Stingray Classica (which airs full-length ballets, operas, and classical performances including chamber music and special kids’ programming) is now being offered to all Comcast Xfinity TV customers for free from December 4 to December 10. Following the free preview, customers can sign up for $6.99 per month.

The company also said additional roll-outs including Stingray DJAZZ with Amazon Channels in the UK and Stingray Karaoke in Germany are forthcoming.

"This agreement with Amazon Channels is the largest direct-to-consumer and streaming deal for Stingray, enabling us to connect directly with music aficionados in key growth markets," said Mathieu Péloquin, SVP communications and marketing at Stingray, in the release. "While it has only been a few months since our first launch with Amazon Channels, we can already affirm that making our services available to OTT providers is an avenue we plan on aggressively pursuing, all the while maintaining and growing our partnerships with pay TV providers worldwide."
