NEW YORK and MONTREAL – Stingray Digital has finalized a programming agreement with Baeblemusic for access to its library of original concerts, sessions, and artist interviews, the two companies announced Wednesday.
The content, which includes more than 500 concerts and 1300 music videos, will be available to ConcertTV subscribers via video-on-demand in Canada, the U.S., and Europe in the near future. The agreement includes worldwide rights for all platforms including television and VOD.
“As we continue to grow our music services on a worldwide scale and across new platforms, we are actively sourcing compelling and high quality music content to offer to our customers and Baeblemusic fits that bill perfectly”, said Stingray Digital president and CEO Eric Boyko, in the announcement. “Baebelmusic is an ideal partner because of the superior quality of their programming and the interesting variety of music offered. We are thrilled to be working with them to distribute this great content across our various services.”
New York-based Baeblemusic distributes high quality music television programming on channels that include Google TV, Roku and Boxee. With a focus on indie music, its team creates an exclusive concert or intimate session for select artists to perform.
“We are pleased to be working with Stingray as the next logical step in the development of our brand and distribution of our quality programming”, said Baeblemusic CEO David Moffly. “All programming is in HD with multi-track audio. The best place to experience the true quality of this programming is in the living room as part of Stingray’s suite of offerings.
