MONTREAL – Stingray has wrapped up its project of transforming two Sports Experts stores in Laval and Quebec City into what it describes as “hubs of digital innovations”.

Stingray’s in-store media solutions division Stingray Business was tasked with overhauling the customer experience in both of the Canadian sports-retailer locations.  The end result includes innovations such as tactile display cubes with transparent screens, synchronised multi-screens videowalls, shoe display cases with RFID chips, ringboard LED screen and tablets for each sales representative.

“We are excited to reach another milestone in our plan to become the leader in the field of in-store music and digital experiences for businesses,” said Pierre Gendron, president of Stingray Business’ digital experience group, in Friday’s news release.  “The objective of this digital makeover is to evoke the same powerful emotions customers get from sports and outdoor activities. It was a pleasure working closely with the Sports Experts team, finding ways to engage customers through the use of innovative technologies and original content. The end result truly represents our vision for the store of the future.”
