Stingray buys minority stake in Nextologies

MONTREAL – Stingray said Tuesday that it has acquired a minority stake in Nextologies Limited, a Toronto-based provider of fibre, IP and satellite transmission services for broadcasters.  Financial terms were not disclosed.According to its website, Nextologies also specializes in high-quality broadcast video connectivity in HD or SD, plus provides hardware, master control and playout services, mobile apps and IPTV and OTT solutions.Stingray said that its investment will provide access to Nextologies’ innovative and secure signal IP distribution network at competitive rates.www.stingray.com
