
MONTREAL – Stingray Digital Group has named Alejandra Olea as general manager, Latin America, effective immediately.
Olea (pictured) will be based in the company's Miami office and will spearhead Stingray's next phase of growth in the Latin American market. Most recently, she was VP integrated sales – content, channels, format and co-production at BBC Worldwide, and has also held positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment Television and DirecTV Latin America.

"Her energy and impeccable reputation within the industry are strong foundations on which to build our Latin American business development plan, which includes continued expansion and a foray into local content production."
Former Latin America GM Gustavo Tonelli will remain within the Stingray family, where he will develop and produce exclusive content for various initiatives in Latin American markets.
