Stingray adds Israeli Karaoke Channel

MONTREAL - Stingray Digital is buying the Israeli version of linear television channel and video-on-demand service The Karaoke Channel from Ananey Communications. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Ananey Communications offers TV and VOD services through television service operators in France, the UK, Germany, Singapore and Vietnam. Stingray said Wednesday that the acquisition is an integral part of its growth plan to broadening its customer base and consolidate the market for karaoke services, plus will also allow it to deepen its penetration in Middle Eastern, Asian and European markets. www.stingraydigital.com
