Steele acquires more shares in Newfoundland Capital

DARTMOUTH, NS – Dartmouth businessman Harry Steele has acquired 900,000 Class A subordinate voting shares in Newfoundland Capital Corporation Limited in a purchase made through the Toronto Stock Exchange, it was announced Wednesday. Steele now owns or controls 48.4% of the outstanding Class A shares – or 4,760,158 shares – and 1,212,434 Class B Shares representing 96.4% of the outstanding Class B shares. A media release states the purchases “were made for investment purposes.”Newfoundland Capital is a small and medium market radio broadcaster with about 60 licences across Canada.
