OTTAWA – The Structure, Tower & Antenna Council (STAC) is capping off 2018 with 100 official members.
The organization said that its newest members, Axilz Inc., Technostrobe, Technical Rope & Rescue, GME Supply Co., FieldSENSE and Skyhook Tower Services, bolster a membership base that has been rapidly expanding in recent years.
"Reaching 100 members demonstrates the Canadian tower industry's ongoing commitment to ensuring communications antennas are constructed with the highest regard for worker safety," said Clay Parchewsky, STAC co-chair and health, safety and environment VP at WesTower Communications, in the news release. "We thank our existing members for their active participation in STAC and invite all non-members to consider joining us as we work to provide a unified voice for the industry."
A non-profit Council of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA), STAC was formed in 2015 following a year-long collaborative effort by nine companies – three wireless telecommunications service providers, three engineering firms and three communications construction companies.
