St-Pierre promoted to top job at Cogeco Cable Canada

MONTREAL – Cogeco Cable announced today it has promoted Louise St-Pierre, who has been with the company for 14 years, to the position of president and CEO of Cogeco Cable Canada.

St-Pierre, who is now responsible for overseeing the operations of Cogeco Cable Canada, first joined Cogeco Cable in 1999 as VP and CIO. Over the years she held increasingly senior positions with the company’s management team. In 2007 she was named VP of customer services and Ontario operations, and in 2011 was promoted to SVP residential services in Sept 2009.

Prior to joining Cogeco Cable, St-Pierre managed and delivered consulting services at DMR in Quebec, New Brunswick and Alberta; and had also worked with IBM.

“In her more than 14 years with the company, Louise has achieved a great deal and proven herself as an excellent leader,” said Louis Audet, president and CEO of Cogeco Cable Inc., in a statement. “The decision to entrust Louise with the responsibilities of managing our Canadian cable operations was a unanimous one, and in so doing, decision making is brought closer to the field of operations to better facilitate excellence in product innovation and customer service, and further enhance our financial performance.”
