Sportsnet’s Vancouver radio station to field Vancouver Canadians games

VANCOUVER – It may be hockey season, but Sportsnet’s all-sports radio station in Vancouver has nabbed the exclusive radio rights to the Vancouver Canadians, the Class A Short Season affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.Starting next summer, Sportsnet 650 will broadcast C’s home games and select road games from the 2019 season. Sportsnet will also televise six Vancouver Canadians games on Sportsnet Pacific throughout the season.“The Canadians have been instrumental in the growth of baseball in Canada, producing Blue Jays stars such as Kevin Pillar, Marcus Stroman and Aaron Sanchez,” said Sportsnet 650 program director Craig MacEwen, in the news release....
