
TORONTO — Rogers-owned Sportsnet will provide tennis fans with more than 90 hours of exclusive English-language Rogers Cup television coverage from the first round to the quarter-finals next week, plus deliver news updates and livestreaming via its radio, online and mobile platforms.
From August 10 to 14, Sportsnet will broadcast two draws daily from both the women’s tournament in Toronto and the men’s tournament in Montreal, in addition to airing highlights, recaps and reports during Sportsnet Central. Sportsnet's TV coverage kicks off at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, August 10.
Brad Fay will host Tennis Central alongside analyst Damien Cox and former Davis Cup player and Olympic coach Robert Bettauer in Montreal. For the men’s tournament in Montreal, Rob Faulds will call the play-by-play with 1983 U.S. Open semifinalist Jimmy Arias. Plus, Arash Madani will report courtside, with Dan Murphy calling the play-by-play on the Banque Nationale court alongside Canadian tennis player Jesse Levine. In Toronto, R.J. Broadhead will call the play-by-play for the women’s tournament with two-time U.S. Open singles champion Tracy Austin providing analysis. Caroline Cameron will be reporting courtside, with Eric Smith calling the play-by-play on the Grandstand court.
Sportsnet 590 the FAN will provide radio listeners in Toronto with daily updates from reporters on site throughout the tournament. Calgary listeners can tune into Sportsnet 960 The FAN for the latest updates from Sportsnet insider Arash Madani.
