QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – Speed Channel and the Canadian Cable Systems Alliance announced they have signed a new master affiliate agreement.
“We are pleased to have concluded long term arrangements for the distribution of Speed Channel. Speed Channel has been a long-standing patron of independent distributors since it was available in Canada… we look forward to continuing and building upon this commercial relationship,” said CCSA president and CEO Alyson Townsend in a release.
“We are happy to continue our solid relationship with CCSA now and into the future,” said Kevin Annison, Speed’s vice-president of business development and operations. “The CCSA and its participating members are very important to Speed Channel’s distribution growth plans in Canada.”
Fox-owned Speed Channel is all about motor sports and is available in 70 million homes in North America.
The CCSA represents 93 independent cable companies with a collective subscriber base of a million.
