MONTREAL – Videotron has added music streaming service Saavn to its Unlimited Music service.
Saavn is a South Asian audio entertainment streaming platform that features Bollywood, Hindi and Indian regional music. The company said Monday that the addition brings Unlimited Music’s total number of supported apps to 19.
Unlimited Music allows Videotron’s customers to stream music using popular music apps such as Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play Music, SoundCloud, Deezer and Stingray Music without using up any of their data plan. It is a free service for subscribers to a premium mobile plan with Videotron.
"Saavn enriches Unlimited Music's offerings, opening up a whole new world of music," said marketing VP Bertrand Hébert, in the news release. "We are pleased to bring our customers an ever-expanding musical selection thanks to agreements such the one we have just signed with Saavn."
