Sony releases Internet video link for its TVs

TORONTO – Sony of Canada has released a device that will allow consumers to watch Internet video programming directly on their television. The BRAVIA Internet video link, when attached to a compatible Sony TV, links directly to an ISP and can receive streamed broadband video, including high-definition content from providers such as Yahoo! and Sony BMG. It will allow users to navigate on-screen through Internet video content as well as the standard TV menu features. The Internet video link will launch this August at a retail price of $349.99 Canadian.
