Sony launches VOD service in Canada

TORONTO – Sony introduced its new premium streaming video service to Canada this week, making hundreds of movies in English and French available on its current network-enabled devices.The service, called Video On Demand powered by Qriocity, stocks content from NBC Universal Television Distribution, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, The Walt Disney Studios, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, as well as films from local studios.
