SMPTE co-developing language metadata table standard with MESA

LOS ANGELES — The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) today announced it has joined with the Media and Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA), a leading community of media technology executives, to co-develop the MESA-championed Language Metadata Table (LMT) standard. SMPTE is the leading standards governing body for media and entertainment engineering.
