TORONTO – SiriusXM Canada is calling on music fans across Canada to vote for their favourite band to represent each CFL city and give them a shot of performing live at the 100th Grey Cup Festival in Toronto.
Last month, as part of the Rock the Grey Cup fan voting competition, bands from each CFL city performed an original set during a regular season game. Fans can view videos of each of the performances and vote for their favourite at rockthegreycup.ca. The winning band will have an opportunity to play live during the 100th Grey Cup Festival the week of November 17-25. Fans can win too and every vote entered will offer a chance to win a 100th Grey Cup Festival VIP package which includes accommodation and airfare for two as well as two tickets to the sold-out Grey Cup and $500 spending money.
"Rock the Grey Cup is a fantastic opportunity to showcase great local Canadian talent, on-stage and on the grid-iron," said Paul Cunningham, VP, Sales and Marketing for SiriusXM Canada."
