SiriusXM Canada’s Indigiverse celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day

TORONTO — In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, SiriusXM Canada announced mid-morning Monday it is featuring specialty programming today on its newest station The Indigiverse as well as on its Canada Talks channel. Available on channel 165, The Indigiverse will be hosting its first takeover today, with 2021 Juno award winner Leela Gilday and Julian Taylor co-hosting to celebrate great Indigenous music from across Turtle Island, taking listeners through lyrical discussions and reflections on how music heals, while also discussing the recent discovery of the remains of 215 children buried at a former Kamloops residential school.
