SiriusXM announces 16 shortlisted communities in nationwide Music Town search

TORONTO — SiriusXM Canada today announced the top 16 finalists in its countrywide Music Town search, which began May 26. Canadians can now vote to award four of the shortlisted towns the opportunity to host “a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience” featuring Canadian artists Arkells, Dallas Smith, Walk off the Earth or 2Frères, a press release says. After receiving submissions from more than 400 communities across the country, SiriusXM Canada narrowed down the entries to 16 finalists across four different regions — Eastern Canada, Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada.
