Sirius to broadcast live CMW concert


TORONTO – Music from Canadian Music Week will be available across North America thanks to satellite radio company Sirius Canada and Canadian Music Week.

Together with Standard Radio (a Sirius co-owner) they will be hosting a live concert in Toronto on March 3, 2006. The Sirius Live concert will be broadcast live from Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre and feature emerging Canadian artists Stabilo, Matt Mays & el Torpedo, Pilate and Mobile. The concert will also be re-broadcast on various Standard Radio platforms including terrestrial and online radio. In Toronto, the concert is being presented by MIX 99.9 FM.

Sirius Live will be hosted by popular Iceberg Radio personalities Steve Anthony and Bob Segarini and gives Canadian music fans access to this Canadian Music Week concert event in three ways:

* Listen live on Sirius Satellite Radio. The concert will be broadcast live on Iceberg Radio (Sirius channel 95) Friday, March 3 starting at 7 p.m. In addition, Sirius Canada will replay the concert at a later date on Radio 3 (Sirius Channel 94), Bande a part (Sirius Channel 93) and Energie2 (Sirius Channel 193).

* Re-broadcast on Soundsource Networks across Canada. The concert will be rebroadcast on March 11 and 12 on select radio stations in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.

* Access video-on-demand at www.icebergradio.com. The entire concert is being filmed for a video webcast presentation, which will be made available on www.icebergradio.com later in the month.
