KAMLOOPS – Dave Sherwood has been promoted to general manager of Jim Pattison Broadcast’s CHAT TV, CHAT FM & CFMY FM in Medicine Hat/Redcliff, AB, effective September 17th.
Sherwood has over 25 years of experience in both television and radio and most recently was program director of CKPG TV in Prince George. He has also been creative director at CKPG TV, commercial production representative at CBC Edmonton, radio sales account executive/writer-producer CKPG Radio and TV, and was also a news reporter/announcer at CJCI Radio in Prince George.

A multiple award winner from the Television Bureau of Canada, BC Association of Broadcasters, and the Northern BC Business and Technology Council, Sherwood’s is an active community member too, as he currently is a member of the BCIT Broadcast Advisory Committee, a program trainer for the BC Library Trustees Association, Past Chair of the City of Prince George Library Board, a former Youth Leadership Development Counselor for the Prince George YMCA and is also a current member of the Prince George Pipe Band.
