Shaw to deliver video, voice and internet to Canad Inns

CALGARY – Shaw Communications said Wednesday it has signed a multi-year agreement with Canad Inns to deliver TV, voice, Internet and data services to its 16 locations.

Shaw Business designed a communications solution specifically for this Canadian company and will serve 16 Canad Inns locations across Manitoba and in Grand Forks, North Dakota, including hotels, restaurants and various other attractions, says the press release.

"We've created a customized cutting-edge offering that really gives Canad Inns the best that Shaw has to offer," said Jay Mehr, Shaw’s senior vice-president, operations. "It takes advantage of our sophisticated network infrastructure and ensures every one of their customers is getting an exceptional experience."

In addition to the TV, voice and Internet services available to customers, all 16 of the Canad Inns locations are linked by a separate fibre-fed virtual private LAN service (VPLS) that caters to the company's administration and management system needs through a secure and reliable connection. The implementation took place over the course of the past year and was recently completed on schedule, adds the release.
