Shaw, Shaw Direct add new programming

CALGARY – Shaw Cable and its satellite brethren Shaw Direct added a number of new programming services to their respective lineups this week.Shaw Direct will launch History HD later this month, bringing its HD channel total to 58. The channel will be added to its ‘HD Extra’ theme package.Shaw Cable expanded its cultural programming with the addition of TV Polonia, Commonwealth Broadcasting Network, and TLN en Espanol.The company also added Treehouse video-on-demand for its digital cable customers, and family entertainment channel Nickelodeon to its cable and satellite lineups.www.shawdirect.cawww.shaw.ca
