CALGARY – Shaw Communications is providing free access to its Shaw Go WiFi network at over 900 hotspots locations in Kelowna through March 22, 2015.

Shaw Go WiFi can be accessed at locations including the Downtown Core, Kelowna City Park, Kelowna Yacht Club and Marina, Apple Bowl, Landmark Cinemas, H20 Adventure + Fitness Center and Capri Mall.  A full list of locations is available at www.shaw.ca/wifi or by downloading the Shaw Go WiFi Finder App.

Residents who are not Shaw customers can connect to the network for free on their laptop and mobile devices by selecting "ShawGuest" on the list of available WiFi hotspots at participating locations and following the steps to register their devices. Registration for the service only needs to be done once, after which users can simply login in with their email address and password.

Kelowna residents can visit shaw.ca/freetrial for more information, or to pre-register for the service.

"Canadians are using the Internet more than ever and want a fast, reliable connection on-the-go in the places they visit the most, whether it's their local coffee shops, parks or recreation centres," said Shaw’s VP operations Katherine Emberly, in the news release. "The trial of our Shaw Go WiFi service in Kelowna gives every resident the chance to experience what hundreds of thousands of Shaw customers already enjoy – a seamless, quality Internet connection outside the home."
