Shaw Charity Classic raises $5.2M for Alberta charities

CALGARY – The Shaw Charity Classic, the Champions Tour event for professional golfers over 50, has raised $5.2 million for youth-based charities in Alberta.Shaw said that it is the fourth straight year that the event has set a record for charitable giving on the PGA Tour Champions, shattering its previous mark of nearly $4 million one year ago.
